Municipal Bank hosted the 34th meeting of the Bulgarian Association for Secure Card Payments (BASCP).
The meeting was attended by representatives of international card organizations, suppliers of card peripherals protection equipment, representatives of various banks offering card services. The trends in card fraud in the world and in Europe, compared with Bulgaria were discussed at the forum. The best practices to reduce fraud in different countries were also discussed. The extended report of anti-skimming devices providers caused special interest.
BASCP meetings are held alternately several times a year. Banks, national and international card organizations and operators are members of the BASCP. Its aim is to work for the prevention of bank and non-bank payment card fraud.
